Even though we tell ourselves that we should cut back on our programming, there's still a lot happening in FEAST In an effort not to clog up the Home Page with too much info, we usually restrict notices (News, Events, Members, Deadlines) to a 14 day lifespan.

However as not everyone visits the website on a regular basis and that you may therefore miss an interesting or useful news item. So we have created this page where you will be able to catch up on significant News even after it's disappeared from the Recent Articles on the Home Page.

We think these items have an intrinsic value which merits them being kept for future reference - to remind us of milestones in FEAST's development, or issues that concern us at a particular moment - what we deem historically worth keeping for FEAST's 10th Anniversary book (ha-ha!) 

Congratulations to Prakrati Agrawal, Lemaire (with her two musician friends forming the Ramtanu Trio), Gauri Raje and Shereen Saif on being selected by FEAST member Jeff Gere to feature in a showcase called Jeff's Picks to be presented by California-based story-show production company, Six Feet Apart.

This will be a ticketed online show featuring recordings of the following stories from a Story Swap and the FEAST FEST, each one linked/introduced by Jeff.

As you can see from their website Six Feet Apart is an experienced storytelling show producer. They will be responsible for hosting and marketing the event and will share the ticket income with FEAST 50/50. FEAST will in turn share this income equitably in a four-way split with the tellers. Regardless of the actual amount each receives, being able to add they were a 'Jeff's Pick' in the US is a notable addition to anyone's CV!

We are most grateful to Jeff for introducing us to Six Feet Apart and for his enthusiasm (and stamina!) in viewing all the FEST 2021 recordings and curating a selection of stories which he felt would be most appealing to the Six Feet Apart audience. It is from Jeff's list that their producers have made this selection.

This collaboration has been brewing since early 2022, and FEAST will continue to explore ways in which we might monetise stories shared by our members for their benefit and exposure to a wider international audience.
