It’s time for our 3rd ADULT STORYTELLING MENTORSHIP SHOWCASE.
Our five mentees have been working with their mentors since May – Annabelle Castano (in Buenos Aires), Alyssa Curtayne (Perth, Australia) Elena Asciutti (Florence, Italy) Anamika Bhati (Singapore) and Geeta Valachi (Mumbai). Three are relatively inexperienced while two have been telling for some time, but all five share a common desire to develop their confidence and skill in performing for adult audiences. Their choices reflect a fascinating diversity of personality and cultural choices and we confidently encourage members to join us for this celebration which is the culmination of the mentorship programmimg for this year.
And who knows – perhaps listening to their stories and seeing them in action will inspire you to try to follow in their footsteps and become a mentee next year?
The mentors – Rona Barbour (UK) Christine Carlton (Australia), Roger Jenkins (Singapore) and Kiran Shah (Australia/Singapore) who mentored two – all report how they have enjoyed the interaction with their mentees and observing their progress as tells over the past six months. It’s a close and rewarding experience for both mentee and mentor.
