I appreciate everyone's openness in sharing their stories, and empathised with Diep's question on whether others also experience ups and downs in letting their stories be shared to people. When Pretigaya, Swee Yean, and Diep were sharing their stories, I noticed how emotions seems to flow beautifully and it seemed like a liberating experience for them. I wish that I would be ready to share my story during our next meeting.
I reflected about monsters in our stories and what it means, along with accepting the facts that I might also be one for someone else.
Laura's prompt for us to experiment using the 3rd person POV is something that I will definitely try. I'm curious to how it will change my relationship with the story.
On ethics, which was something I asked in the previous session, Laura gave some great pointers and shared from her wealth of experience. Gave me a lot to ponder upon, but it is all very encouraging.
